Welcome to the SFM Indicator Knowledge Base
The SFM Indicator Knowlege Base is a database of indicators measuring sustainable forestry around the world. We have brought these indicators together in order to facilitate their use and further their development as part of a broader push towards better sustainable forest management. We want to spark communication, information-sharing, and collaboration on this site. SFMI users can add/edit and review indicators, write their own blogs, discuss issues, share photos and experiences, and profile themselves and their projects.
The knowledge base is hosted by the SFM lab in the Faculty of Forestry at the University of British Columbia and maintained by the SFM lab and its partners.
This site is made possible by generous funding from the British Columbia provincial government's Ministry of Forests and Range through their Forest Investment Account's Forest Sciences Program.
